CLM (Open Beta)

CLM is a character-focused progression game in active development.
This is an early build: features, balance, and content are changing fast.

Goal right now: tight feedback and fast iteration — not mass distribution.

Status

• 🧪 Systems + balance are actively changing
• 💾 Saves may break between versions
• 🎮 Playable, but not final

Optional: Local image generation (ComfyUI)

CLM can optionally connect to a locally running ComfyUI instance to generate character images.

• ✅ CLM does not include AI models, workflows, or datasets
• ✅ Generation happens only on your machine, using your own ComfyUI setup
• ✅ CLM only sends generation requests to the server address you configure (typically http://127.0.0.1:8188) and displays the result
• ⚠️ You are responsible for the models you install, the prompts you use, and complying with relevant licenses/laws
• ❌ CLM does not host, distribute, moderate, or upload AI models or generated content

No ComfyUI? No problem. CLM is fully playable without image generation.

Download / Setup (Windows)

Option A: Installer

1. Download CLM Setup 0.9.0.exe
2. Run the installer
3. Launch CLM via Start Menu / Desktop shortcut

Option B: Portable (no install)

1. Download CLM 0.9.0.exe
2. Double-click to run

ComfyUI setup (optional)

1. Install ComfyUI and start it locally (default is usually http://127.0.0.1:8188).
2. In CLM go to Settings.
3. Enter your ComfyUI server address.
4. Click Test Connection (green check = good).
5. Enable Auto-generate Images (or generate manually from the Feed).
